100 Push Up Challenge

I first posted this on10/08/08... YES 2008 - and i haven't done it yet... i need to firm up my back fat, my arms for my dress.... so i need support. Anybody want to do this with me?  Starting today or monday? I could use any and all support :)

So I'm taking the challenge



I will be following Column 1 of the Week one phase... my problem areas are always my arms, backfat, chest, shoulders and upper body. I am a "cone" type body and I'd really like to be able to show my arms period... and especially for the wedding. So I'm taking the challenge and I'm going to get healthy, get fit, and get some nice arms...anybody else care to join me on this challenge?

  1. I'll join you on this! My dress is strapless and a high-waist a-line... all that shows are my upper chest and arms. This is perfect for showing off those areas!

  2. Borrow a 4 month old infant and lift her above your head while your watching TV...great for the tricepts.

  3. I'll join you as long as it doesn't mean doing 100 push-ups at once. I can do 1 a day for 100 days, or even 5 a day for 20 days... but anything over 10 a day and I think my arms might fall off. :)

  4. start slowly..... it actually makes it easier if you are doing weight lifting as part of your normal routine. I'm up to 25 right now.... it's slow but it gets there.

  6. Heck yes girl!!! We'll be push-up experts by the end of this... or we'll be in pain and can barely turn the steering wheel to drive... but We'll be awesome! haha

  7. I may just have to jump on the bandwagon. I've been seeing it around, but I hate pushups sooooo yeah, I haven't quite gotten around to it yet. I will. I swear.

    At any rate, you should totally check out the 30 Day Shred because just 13 days in I'm noticing a change in my upper body.

  10. OMG! I just downloaded the app yesterday for my iPhone... I'm on day 2. I just wish I started this 2 months ago when I started P90X as the back and chest workouts are HARD in that program. I'm already married, but I'm trying to lose 20 pounds and increase my upper body strength. I'm halfway there!

  12. I'm in! I want to shape up before I have hundreds of photos take of me in 10 months. Right now, I'm not even sure I can do 20 wall pushups. Maybe 1-2 regular ones. I've got jello/chicken wing arms. Ugh.
