Ms. BBQ's Awesome DIY Invites

I just had to give a huge shout out to my lovely friend Ms. BBQ. The girl has done her own invitations in record time and they are awesome. I mean, she designed, created and added all her own details all on her handy little laptop! To say I'm impressed does not truly describe how in awe I am of her handy work! And I'm so excited that I finally got my invite yesterday in the mail!
to see Ms. BBQ's DIY Invites...

As I've mentioned before, Ms. BBQ is planning a destination wedding! How romantic and cool! And its sooooo great b/c I've never been to Puerto Vallarta! So her DIY Invites are a plane ticket holder and the old school plane tickets (not the E-tickets we get these days). Check them out!!

The color theme is the tropical blue, greens with some subtle brown tones. The three page invite carries all the relevant information necessary. But just to be on the safe side, Ms. BBQ did include an extra two pages in a "welcome note" type fashion. I am so impressed and have to give her a huge shout out for dropping this DIY's project on its Butt! Engaged in mid-summer and invites already self designed and sent out by mid-October!

Ms. BBQ told me that she got all her helpful fonts at DaFont - flowers, bar codes and all that stuff... pretty cool, eh?
