Just a reminder

As I was going through my morning ritual of my personal blog roll, I came across a recent blog i found that I've started to stalk... TearDrop Weddings! Have any of y'all stopped by? I highly recommend you do, if you haven't already... Today she had a post about Writing your Own Wedding Vows, that I'd really like to share with y'all... I think even for those who may not be writing your own vows, these questions are good to think about during the planning process, the day of your wedding, and the days to come after as a simple reminder of how lucky you are to have who you have and why...
Read the questions

When and where did you first meet?

What was the state of your life before the two of you met?

At what point did you realize you were in love? Describe the feeling.

What inspires you about your loved one?

What life goals and dreams do you share?

What have you learned from each other?

What qualities make your love unique? What qualities will keep it strong?

How has your view of the world changed since you fell in love?

What do you most look forward to about life with this person?

What are some special moments in your relationship? Use them all, even the sad times as well as the happy, moving, or profound.

What happened the day you asked her to marry you? How did you feel?

Now these are just a few, and i'm sure there may be a few more... What inspired you in your own wedding vows? How personal did you get? What reminds you daily of why you are in love and love your partner? Did you not have personal vows, but expressed your feelings in some other personal way to your partner before the ceremony?

  1. Great blog she has. Thanks for the recommendation.
About the vows... I didn't get that far yet :-)

  2. Nice information. I really liked it.

You know I've used this site at for sexy lingerie, lingerie, corsets, bustier, costumes, sexy costumes, fantasy lingerie, plus size lingerie, lace lingerie, sexy dresses, leather lingerie, and hot lingerie.

I thought they had some nice things.

  3. WOW.... great questions. Hubby and I did not write our own vows, but we both had something special we wanted to do. I wanted to do the salt covenant, and he wanted to do communion. Both great visual ways to bond a little closer during that special moment in our lives.

  4. I was too nice, and wasn't gonna make my guy write our own vows. He would have been freaking out over it and wouldn't have finished them til about 3 minutes from walking down the aisle anyway.

  5. I love this post...I really appreciate the comment you left me today, it really means a lot - thank you for the encouragement!

  6. Oooo this is great! So glad you shared!!!

  7. thanks for the link. I am thinking about writing my vows. not sure yet.
