Centerpiece Inspiration

From someone i'd like to now call a "close" friend in the blogosphere... the Atlanta Bride (who always has got my back) showed me Julia & Brian's wedding via Style Me Pretty, and i had to post a centerpiece inspiration... just so i don't forgot!

Be Inspired!

I love the simplicity of the yellow lemons with the tiny white flowers placed so delicately... easy, simple and eatable :) The wedding seemed to keep the theme of simple classy chic... and i love it! :)

and this one from Snippet and Ink Via It's a Jamie Thing

What are your thoughts about fruits used in centerpieces or for wedding decor? Have you done that at your wedding? Are you planning to use them?

  2. I like this look, it's simple elegance, and depending on how fancy you get, you can change the container, e.g. tall clear vase, and it will fancy it up a bit with out losing the 'simple elegance'.

  6. I love the idea of using fruit and/or other various non-traditional items as centerpieces. They add so much color and they just have warm feel to them. I am trying to think of a way to use green apples in my decor.

  7. LOVE the bout's for the boys in your photo and LOVE the yellow with the peonies (if they were in season, I'd have used more in mine). As for the lemons, they will smell awesome! My cousin put pears in her arrangements with some flowers. It looked awesome.

  8. Hey Relentless, 1) Thanks for commenting on my "reoccuring advice". Your thoughts are always so lovely. 2) I concur with your sentiments of An Atlanta Bride. She's great! 3) I like the fruit idea as centerpieces. I actually wanted to use them my selves but I'm thinking I'm loving the fish a little bit better at the moment. I also considered putting the ishes in the bowl with some lemons and have the best of both worlds but I don't think the poor fellows could stand all that acid so, oh well. 4) I love the post. Yellow is one of my colors so thanks for the inspiration!

  14. I love this look!
My sister used green apples and pink flowers in her centerpieces. It was so easy. Plus, they take up a lot of visual space, and are nice compliments for flowers!
