NJ Bridal Shower Recap {Part 1}

A couple weekends ago, I had my bridal shower in NJ. Yes, I am THAT lucky... I had two showers (Click here for my CA Bridal Shower Recap) and it's taken me a moment to have the time to write this post b/c they ain't lying when they say the last month before the wedding is a whirlwind.  I didn't want to just write this post without really being able to set aside some time - so here I am... a few weeks behind, but still feeling like the luckiest girl in the world.  :)

My NJ shower was mainly my east coast bridal party and my NJ family and friends - mostly friends whom I've become close with b/c of FH, but i still count them "MY" family and friends. My FSIL picked a wonderful little place called Ponte Vecchio in NJ, and my MOH/Cousin and BM both came in from NYC to help out and be a part of this special day.

I didn't have a chance to take as many pics as I would have liked since I was "the guest of honor" but luckily my cousin and a friend of mine, took my camera and made sure to capture the important moments... So here are a few pictures from the event:

Dining: (The food was delicious!)

then, this cute little gal came over to me to let me know it was time to open gifts... lol:

 My Helpers

I loved reading the cards! they were so sweet!
and then my helpers realized - the paper tissue that wrapped the gifts were more fun to play with then helping me...  so they became the entertainment that helped the gift unwrapping be a lot more fun than it would have been...

Stay tuned for pics of my Cake, my ribbon bouquet and all my guests !!!!

So super fun! I am sure my little flower girl will also be my 'gift helper' at my own shower in 2 weeks! OMG, your wedding date is so close! I may just have to come crash it and try to sneak a peek of you in person since I used to live right near where you are getting married and am still only about 15 to 20 mins from there :)
